Breakfast with the made to order omelettes, bacon, sausage. Modest and well-maintained rooms available with comfortable beds, a balcony, free weights.

Really enjoyed efficient check-in and efficient check-out. We had extremely spacious rooms for cookies and the staff were understanding.

The hotel was gorgeous and overall clean, had magnificent views of the harbor and downtown. The room was brand-new and beautifully maintained, had central heating, a personal safe, and multi-channel TV. We got a tub too. Unbeatable central location very close to Farmers market, the airport and the airport shuttle and Ocean. Moreover, Spreckels Theatre was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the place.

Reasonably spacious room and exceptionally comfortable bed. Lots of excellent options for meal.

Internet was terrible.

There was variety of savoury meals.

It was truly a real good stay for an event and for a personal vacation, the hotel met my needs. Every staff member was very very helpful and superfriendly. Central location of this smoke-free venue was a bonus. The airport was 0.5 miles away.

It had comfortable location, not far from downtown, the gas lamp district and so many fabulous restaurants around, and San Diego for a short weekend trip. The room I had was a nice size in facilities and the staff was respectful. Tea/coffee making equipment and a fridge worked well.

There were spacious and modest rooms with comfortable beds, a balcony plus air freshener. Coffee & tea making facilities and a refrigerator were available.

Great food selection. Brand-new unit with a king bed. Fantastic location close to everything. Nearby Queenstown Public House - great place to chill out.

The beds at Doubletree were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect, within walking distance of Little Italy and all its attractions. The hotel's modern lobby added a stylish touch to the overall experience.

We stayed at the Doubletree Downtown for 3 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable, and my friend and I (both senior widows) fell asleep the minute our heads hit the pillows. Being welcomed with a warm chocolate chip cookie was great. Our room was always spotlessly clean, and while the balconies are tiny, without room for sitting out on, they enable you to go out to view the city, and you can open the door to get fresh air in the room. We left a tip for the maid daily, and the first day she left our money on the desk, despite the fact that we left it on the pillow, for her. We were impressed with her honesty, but the next day there was a different maid, so we are hoping she gave half of what we left that day to the first gal.

We felt that prices in the hotel restaurant were a bit high, for what you got. And we were a tad disappointed that the hotel shuttle did not go to the cruise terminal, which is only a little over a mile away. There are a number of good restaurants in the area, though you do have to walk a few blocks to find them.
